Pros and cons of SonicMax app for iPhone and iPad

SonicMax app good for

THIS is the one you need, if you care a bit about your music, re-discover my headset, will probably go for the Pro version for precise tuning, a must have, even if the iPhone is not the best music player, BBE makes it look good ! <3 <3 Thx for making this version free o/
I am impressed with the sound of my playlist music on my iPhone when I use SonicMax.

Some bad moments

Just like music studio monitors, you can hear the true definition from this app, crystal clear with good punch in the bass tracks
It really does improve the sound of my music, but Im sad to say it is impractical for my everyday use. Because of API limitations it cant update song play count or function in conjunction with other music apps. It cant even scrobble to Last.FM. The actual player is very basic (not unlike the standard Music.app). So if all you care about is how the music sounds and not about play counts and you arent bothered by how basic the standard music.app is then certainly youll enjoy this app. I, on the other hand, have my own needs in music playing that this app does not solve. So I will not be using it.
A/B-ing between this app and the Music (IPod) app, the sound coming out of this sounded muddy and sloppy. Do not recommend.
I couldnt get max from my Monster Beats Pro with basic app. But this one outputs really magical sound! The only thing why I cant give it 5 stars - missing shuffle function, and autoplayback after pressing album button. But I think Ill get used to it sometime :)
This app offers a single preset for your particular output (headphones vs. speakers), but does NOT allow any of the tweaking or customization listed in the description. I assume they are describing the "Pro" version. "Sonic Max" Un-Pro here has extremely-limited functionality, and isnt worth the download. The deceptive description sinks it completely.
You definitely hear your songs better than if you just use the Apple app. I hope it has more tweaks but so far so good.
